At Trafalgar Communicatiosn we understand the vital role that telecommunications fulfils within our client's organistaion and whilst in today's competitive markets everyone needs to keep their costs to a minimum, there has to be equal importance placed upon reliability of the services provided to them. Obtaining competitive rates will certainly reduce costs but if that leads to poor call quality, unreliabilty of service and constant customer service issues then it can also lead to loss of business.
We are therefore very selective about the carriers we will recommend to our clients and whist they will of course offer competitive rates leading to overall savings sometimes as high as 40%, they will also provide the level of call quality, reliability and service that or clients would expect.
In order to ensure quality of calls and reliabilty of the network, we only use Tier One Carriers or Resellers that only carry calls over Tier One Networks. Each Carrier that we recommend has nominated customer service staff that deal with our clients, so that we are able to monitor the level of service that you receive.

Audit
Our Audit usually comprises an informal discussion lasting no more than 30 minutes and is very much an exchange of information and ideas. Yet it is the key to the final success of the negotiations we will undertake on your behalf. The Audit is the first stage in understanding your companiy's needs and assists us to ensure that not only are the offers we receive on your behalf competitive but they also meet your specific requirements
We want to understand how your organisation uses its telecommunications for example:
- What type of lines do you have an how many?
- What kind of system to do you use?
- Do you have long data calls?
- Do you use Broadband?
- What are your most common destinations?
- Do you have homeworkers?
- Do you make calls at off-peak times?

Tariff Analysis
Our Tariff Analysis is the key to understanding where your costs are going and then identifying the carrier that is able to provide you with the most competitive tariff and cost savings. It is simply not enough to ask you what rates you are currently paying and then offering lower ones. The actual rate you are paying can be affected by the following considerations:

- Are your calls capped and therefore have a setup fee?
- Do you have off peak rates?
- Are you billed per second?

In order to ascertain the actual rate you are paying our bespoke system calculates your profile by summarising all your calls by destination, showing the number of minutes and the cost. By dividing one into the other will show your true rate.

Negotiations
Having ascertained your requirements from our audit and the armed with the results of our analysis, we will negotiate on your behalf with various carriers to ensure you are offered the most competitive rates. We will expect to acheve:

- Agreement to be able to make future reductions to your rates in line with the market.
- Minimum Term Contratcs, normally 30 days notice unless your are transferring line rentals.

By allowing Trafalgar Communications to negotiate for your Company will mean at most three meetings, the first is the Audit Process, the second to present the results of our negotiations which will include a clear comparison for each offer received from each of the carriers and finally a meeting to conclude the deal.
